Description Glow Your Own Luminous Paint
The possibilities that this paint offers are so varied... we don't even know where to start!
Let's start with the practical: how about emergency exit arrows on the floor and walls to find your way out of the apartment in case of a power outage and similar disasters? Seen this way with Sheldon Cooper in The Roommate Transmogrification (Roommate Swap). If you also wish for a glowing fish, we advise against simply painting one...
Everything else that is not alive and not eaten, you can illuminate as you please. :) For example, everything you want to find in the dark, light switches, doorbells, keys, remote controls... Luminous paint has also always looked good on the hands and digits of clocks.
If that's too pragmatic for you, the dark season is approaching and with it the best conditions for a bit of spookiness. A first example can be seen in the photos with the now glowing skeleton of our Cat Skeleton Candle. But you will surely come up with something even creepier, maybe a glowing Zombie Garden Gnome in the front yard?
Applying the luminous paint with the integrated brush is very easy, it works on the principle of nail polish. Before you swing the brush, the paint needs to be shaken vigorously once. ;) To make the painted object glow, you just need to expose it to sunlight, artificial UV, or black light for a short while, and thanks to fluorescence, it will emit light in the dark.
Textiles can also be painted well with this. For this, they should be washed without fabric softener beforehand so that the paint can penetrate better. After 4 hours, the paint is well dried and after 72 hours, the fabric can then be washed inside out. But be careful: the paint creates stains. So better not try it on your favorite shirt.
In the end, as always, we leave the choice to you: what can't you make glow? ;)
